Hampton Inn Cambridge

Had an incident happen in the parking lot with a trailer sideswiping my rental vehicle causing significant damage. Once discovered I reported the issue immediately to Michelle who was on duty at the desk and was WONDERFUL. She came out inspected my vehicle and made an incident report. She was able find the driver of the trailer and she told me to follow up with her boss, in the morning. When I went to speak with her boss he didn't really seem interested in helping. I showed him the damage and asked him if he could please reach out to the driver since he had their information. I went to get ready for my day and went back to check with him and hour or so later and he didn't contact the driver at all-- instead told me that he "couldn't find the owner" Michelle was able to find it, why couldn't he? When we told him where to look he instantly found it, called the owner (went to voicemail) and said that he didn't pick up. He didn't bother to call the room or offer and other type of support. Horrible customer service. Why does a guest have to be on top of you to do your job? Upon departure, I went to ask the manager/boss who i believe was named Matthew, for the name of the night clerk, he was standing at the entrance of the hotel smoking a cigarette with two other associates. Gross. Bottom line, if you have an incident happen here, good luck. Also, give Michelle a raise

Great 1 night stay. Michelle was so friendly and welcoming at checkin. She was kind enough to store something in the freezer for me and helped us out with extra pillows too. Hotel was very clean and appeared updated. Bed was comfy, bathroom clean and fresh. Breakfast - Wendy exceeded expectations … the whole breakfast area was kept super clean and stocked and after I asked about ingredients on the sausage, Wendy noticed I didn’t take any and offered me turkey sausage which I gladly accepted…it really made the start of my day!
